An African Celebration...
Truly celebrating that there is more that unites than divides us,
the 2004 Harvest of Hope will educate and inspire! Wednesday September 29th
at the Donald R. Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the
Performing Arts (DCPA), Harvest of Hope attendees will experience
an evening filled with African festivities and hear a message
of hope that spans the oceans and embraces the world.
The message from Ethan Zohn, winner of
Survivor Africa, will bring us hope -- hope born of his
channeling 15 minutes of television fame and fortune into a program in
Africa, |

Ethan Zohn, a professional soccer player, became instantly famous
when he won the Survivor Africa competition. Ethan applied
his winnings to a program, Grassroot Soccer, established
to provide education about HIV and AIDS to African
youth in Zimbabwe, where he |

had played professionally. Soccer players are role models in
Africa -- they are heroes to youngsters.
